Daycare rules and regulations
The purpose of Uptown Dawg is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating social environment for dogs. To ensure the health and safety of your pet and our other guests, we ask all clients to follow these rules.
- Dogs of all ages are welcome once housetrained. Puppies must have all vaccinations before entering daycare. Puppies and shelter dogs must be in the home for at least one month first.
- All dogs must be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age. Some exceptions apply up to 1 year.
- Up-to-date vaccinations with written proof: DHLPP (Distemper), Rabies and Bordetella (kennel cough). Dogs must be on a flea, tick and lice program all year.
- All dogs must be in good health and free of any condition that could affect other dogs. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days need a veterinary certificate.
- All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective.
- A complete, approved application must be on file before attending. Every dog is assessed with a free 2-hour trial.
- Daycare dogs must wear a flat clip collar (no choke chains or martingales) and be brought into the facility on leash.
- Daycare packages are non-refundable but transferable. All services and products are paid at the time of purchase.
