Hi I’m Elizabeth! My career with animals began as a daycare worker, dog walker, pet sitter, and assistant therapeutic canine swimmer. Through this work, I discovered a love of canine behaviour and training and started my dog training service called Critter Gal.
My goal is to help dog parents feel confident in their pup’s skills and in their capability to maintain control of their dog in stressful or unpredictable situations.
I’m a graduate of the DogStars (a PCTIA accredited school) Dog Trainer program, and I’m a member of both the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers (CAPPDT).

We will cover how to properly make doggy friends, and learn manners like leave it, no barking, no jumping and important commands like stay, come, and settle. We even cover a few fun tricks to impress friends and family!
This dog training class is for pups under 5 months. Dogs must be friendly with other dogs and people. Being shy is ok!
Whether this is your dog’s very experience with dog training, or a refresher on manners and obedience, this class is designed to help get you and your dog on the same page!
In this dog training course we cover more challenging versions of the basics; adding distance, distraction and duration to our commands. We make sure to work on focus and listening skills as dogs tend to become more distracted at the 6 month mark.
This 2 night dog training workshop is designed to get your dog to be more comfortable around triggers, bark and lunge less, and ultimately, focus more on you.
